The Week That Was
Another busy week for us.
We are practicing our handwriting, making sure we always start our letters at the top and focusing on our pencil grip. A tip that helps those children who hold their pencils like they are going to stab someone, is to get them to hold a tissue in the palm of their hand with their little finger and and ring finger. Strengthening their finger muscles also helps with their pencil grip eg. playing with playdough.
The children are loving the story of the Good Samaritan and deepening their understanding about good choices and bad choices. They are all excellent with the theory but we are still working on putting it to practice!!
