This week is well-being week at St Bernardines.
Wednesday: -Whole school mass at 9:00
-free lunch for everyone-sausage sizzle and ice block.
- arts council presentation at 12.30
Friday- free dress day with a gold coin donation
The Week That Was
Our well being week saw the children involved in many activities.
Our special Mass was celebrated by Bishop Oudeman. The children enjoyed their free lunch of a sausage sandwich and an ice block. They loved learning some new dance moves with the Bollywood dancers that were visiting. Friday the Year 6 Student Curriculum Leadership Team organised activities for all the prep classes. A mammoth job and the children enjoyed themselves immensely.
Congratulations to Kaleah Qalivutu and Alejandro Zavaroni on receiving the Unity Award for our class. They shared an afternoon tea with other recipients and Mr Gallen.
Parent Helpers
Some parents have indicated that they would be interested in helping out in the classroom. If you are, then it is essential you complete a volunteer training online/child protection. Your results would need to be printed and given to the school office. If you would like to email me to show your interest I can forward the link to you. The days that are suitable for us will be Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 2:10-2:40.
